Joyful Successors, owned by Joy Taai, reached its maximum capacity at its Waaihoek branch within the first few days of opening.
Taai saw the need to expand the daycare centre as there was a long list of parents eagerly waiting for a spot for their children. “We realised that we need to assist our parents in need, and started looking for other venues to accommodate what they do,” according to Taai.
“We found a perfect and safe spot in Rykmanshoogte in Heidedal for our second branch. We truly are experiencing overflow for the year 2024. Parents are just as excited as the little ones and we are keen on keeping both our parents and learners happy through twisting education and using more modern ways of teaching,” said Taai.
She added that their journey has been nothing but pure bliss so far. According to Taai, one of the highlights of the year was their first Valentine’s Day celebration.
“It was a day filled with love and excitement. The little ones dressed according to the theme which was ‘Dress like mommy and Daddy in the 90s’, and they surely went out of their way with their outfits,” she said.
Joyful Successors will be hosting a few events this year as part of fundraisings for the school to better its premises and education system. These events will include Family Fun Days, Sports Days, and an annual concert which will be the biggest event of the year.
“Our aim for 2024 is to equip our little ones, daycare and aftercare, with more than enough knowledge and wisdom to start their new chapters next year, fully competent and joyful.”
