If jazz soul and blues is your type of music, then you are in for a delightful musical treat at this year’s Vrystaat Arts Festival. Pure Delicate Artistry (PDA) are a group of seasoned session musicians who’ll be providing festival goers with sultry sounds.

The Vrystaat Arts Festival takes place from 1 until 7 July 2019 at the University of the Free State’s main campus in Bloemfontein.

The local group has dazzled audiences on the Main Stage of the KKNK and Macufe and had the privilege of working with Sibongile Khumalo and PJ Powers. “We look forward to playing at home,” said Angelo Mockie of PDA. The Vrystaat Arts Festival is “one of the key international art festivals on the African continent,” added Dr Ricardo Peach, Director of the Festival.

PDA will be putting on three shows on 4, 5 and 6 July 2019 at the festival’s VIP Area on the campus. Tickets are available R250 pp, which includes a complimentary cognac and light meal.
