The Department of Water and Sanitation says dam levels in the Free State are still at lower levels despite having rainfall around parts of the Free State in the past week.
The department says adherence to water restrictions by domestics and industries is impacting positively by releasing strains on water resources and demand management during this trying time of drought.
Round the clock work is being done in monitoring 211 dams on a weekly basis.
