More information about the situation on the University of the Free State’s (UFS) campuses will be communicated during the course of the day. This according to the university’s spokesperson, Lacea Loader, after senior leadership yesterday suspended academic and administrative services on the Bloemfontein Campus for today.
Loader did not comment on a statement yesterday that an announcement regarding the continuation of the Bloemfontein Campus’s academic programme for the rest of the week would be made last night.
She says information will be shared when it becomes available today while senior leadership will have an opportunity to further engage with the Student Representative Council (SRC) today. No academic services will be available on the South Campus either with no lectures or tests. Administrative services will, however, continue on this campus.
