Yes, you’ve guessed right! It is time again for Care Bags, Bloemfontein Courant’s popular community project, which was started last year to help as many people as possible and to encourage others to do the same.
We are asking our readers and clients to compile a Care Bag (Ziploc bag) containing toothpaste, a toothbrush, soap, facecloth, winter gloves and a scarf or a beanie. A bag with these items can go a long way in helping the less fortunate, especially with the cold Free State winter on its way.
Interested individuals and businesses are encouraged to collect care bags or money from colleagues and friends. Once you’ve collected more than 30 bags, Bloemfontein Courant will collect them and take a picture for its print publication.
Bloemfonteiners have until Wednesday 21 June to collect care bags. All the care bags collected will be handed over to the different beneficiaries at the Bloemfontein Courant’s offices on 26 June 2017.
