Parkweg police are asking for assistance with the tracing of the driver of a white BMW that was responsible for the death of a pedestrian.

The incident happened in Zastron Street (near Stanville Inn) Bloemfontein on 4 August 2013.

According to eyewitnesses, there were four males inside the vehicle and the driver sped away from the scene after he had hit the pedestrian.

The pedestrian later died in hospital as a result of his injuries.
