The Bloemfontein SPCA is asking for the community’s help with their operating expenses. This as most of their donors have cancelled their debit orders due to circumstances beyond their control. The organisation is known for walking the extra mile when it comes to doing its job and does not hesitate to drive for up to 400 km a day to a small town to help animals in need.
“We are somewhere in the countryside to help animals two to three days a week where there is no SPCA or vet to help save animals. It has a massive impact on our budget. Our petrol bill is too high because we drive thousands of kilometres every week to help animals,” said the organisation.
By sponsoring a kennel at the Bloemfontein SPCA, members of the community can show their much needed support. Even though the organisation does a lot of fundraising projects to cater for its expenses, the Covid-19 pandemic has affected its projects.
“Many of our major projects have unfortunately been cancelled due to Corona. We, therefore, humbly ask for your help. Will you please help us to help the animals at the SPCA Bloemfontein by sponsoring a kennel or making a monthly donation to the SPCA,” the organisation requests.
