Heidedal movie ready to hit the big screen

After nearly four years of hard work and dedication, the time has finally arrived for the proudly Heidedal movie Pik en Graaf to hit the big screens. Just Faith Productions (Pty) Ltd, with directors and actors residing in Heidedal, are ready to show the world the acting talent that exists in Heidedal.

“It is made for Heidedal by Heidedal,” says Head of Communications for Just Faith Productions, Abigail Visagie. “This movie is for the community and can be described as a very intimate movie as the community of Heidedal – from the streets of Heidedal to the houses – plays a very important role in the production.”

The movie that caters for all ages and for people from different backgrounds, will be shown on 5 and 6 January 2018 at the Normal Doubell Hall in Heidedal. The movie will be available to view at three different time slots on both days at 11:00, 14:00 and 19:00.

The local actors showcase their talent through telling a heart-warming local story, a story that inspires and educate their audience. Pik en Graaf was written and directed by Vincent “Chico” de Koker of the highly acclaimed SABC2 production, Majakatata. De Koker and the actors will be at the shows on both days.

“Everything from the crew up to the actors are all from Heidedal, it was shot in Heidedal, our director is from Heidedal, and everyone involved in this work of art is from Heidedal,”  says Visagie.
