Bloemfontein Courant celebrates 15 years in the printing industry. The biggest, free and leading community newspaper has been an integral part of the positive and gradual change in Bloemfontein, bringing residents of the city up-to-date with factual and informative news each and every Thursday.

A few members of Central Media Group grabbed the opportunity to wish Bloemfontein Courant a splendid happy birthday.

As a former employee at Bloemfontein Courant, Heidre Malgas can wholeheartedly attest to Bloemfontein Courant’s essence of community, family, and love. “The dedication of team members to go above and beyond to ensure every story is heard is beyond compare. Bloemfontein Courant not only changes lives and enhances livelihoods but also harbours profound love for its local community. “Happy Birthday to the biggest and best community newspaper in Bloemfontein. Here’s to many more years of printing excellence,” Malgas, who is now an OFM journalist, said.

Devon Economon would like to wish the publication a happy birthday: “Here’s to 15 years of keeping us informed and connected. Cheers to the dedicated team behind the headlines working hard to bring informative news to our doorsteps,” Economon mentioned.

“To the newspaper that keeps all of us well informed, sheds so much light in our city, and puts warmth in our hearts – it’s your birthday and my absolute pleasure to wish you a happy 15th birthday!” said OFM marketing coordinating intern, Katleho Twala.

Brendan Plaatjies congratulates Bloemfontein Courant on 15 successful years and would like to wish the newspaper many more filled with growth, prosperity and joy. “Thank you for always being a reliable source of local news,” Plaatjies said.

“Happy 15th anniversary to our beloved newspaper! Over the years, you’ve been the voice of our community, delivering news, insights, and stories that have shaped our lives. Here’s to many more years of informing, inspiring, and connecting us all. Cheers to your legacy!” Charne van der Merwe said.

Casey-Lee Anthony wished a happy birthday to one of the most informative and entertaining newspapers still around to spread news, Bloemfontein Courant. “You are appreciated as a newspaper and informant. “I hope to (physically) continue reading the paper for the next 15 years to come as well!” Anthony said.

Valencia van der Merwe added that this is a milestone that needs to be celebrated. “Let us take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation for all that Bloemfontein Courant has given us over the years. So, here’s to Bloemfontein Courant on their 15th anniversary! May they continue to shine brightly as a beacon of truth, integrity, and community spirit in our beloved Free State.
