Grey College Sport Round Up – Easter Weekend

Rugby: Grey College is still unbeaten after the Kearsney Easter Rugby Festival.

They played EG Jansen on Thursday and beat them 26-6. On Saturday they played against Westville boys, beating them 32-20, and on Monday they drew against Monument 10 all.

The first rugby team will be taking part in the Wildeklawer Rugby Tournament in Kimberley next week Monday (Grey vs Outeniqua, televised on Supersport 15h35) and Wednesday against Paarl Gimnasium.

Soccer: The First team as well as the Under 15 soccer teams took part in the Waterstone College Soccer Tournament.

Both teams were the tournament winners. First team soccer captain (reserve for Bloemfontein Celtic) had a great game, scoring seven goals in six matches.

Tennis: During the St Stithians Easter Tennis Festival the first team tennis ended in 2nd place after losing against St Stithians in the final, 3-6. They won all their other matches.
