Golden Gate Classics 2019 is set to be spectacular

The mountains come alive to the classical sounds of Beethoven, Bach and Mozart as the universe unveils her speckled nightly beauty in the Golden Gate Highlands National Park (GGHNP). The Golden Gate Classics 2019 will take place from 6 to 8 December 2019 when visitors can enjoy renowned South African vocalist, Sibongile Khumalo, accompanied by a 40-piece orchestra among others.

The 3rd Annual Golden Gate Classic Concert will be hosted by the South African National Parks. The artists for this year’s concert are top class and will keep all jazz and classical music lovers captivated.

Guests can marvel at the wonders of the Maluti Mountain Range as they are regaled by an evening of jazz with the internationally acclaimed Bokani Dyer Trio and award winning songbird, Thandi Ntuli, on Friday, 6th December 2019.

The evening of Saturday 7th December will showcase the artistic versatility of Sibongile Khumalo accompanied by a 40-piece orchestra conducted by Maestro Kutlwano Masote. Soprano Zandile Mzazi and members of the T.U.T Vocal Art Chorus will also take to the stage displaying a growing and rich operatic culture in South Africa.
