Get ready for a gin-filled extravaganza, as the Schweppes Bloemfontein Gin Festival is heading to the city on 9 September at the Ramblers Club.
According to Deon Mastenbroek from the SA Gin Society, this highly anticipated event promises a captivating showcase of South African gin brands, delightful culinary offerings, and an entertainment line-up that’s set to light up the night.
Mastenbroek said the festival is a celebration of all things gin, featuring a selection of South African gin brands for attendees to explore. These include distilleries like Ginologist, Unit 43, Black Horse, Monks, and Lengana. When asked what’s new at this year’s festival, Mastenbroek said that there will be a ‘Sip & Paint’ lounge where guests can unleash their artistic flair onto canvas while enjoying their favourite gin cocktails.
The entertainment line-up includes the likes of Holly Rey, the winner of Masked Singer SA, accompanied by DJ Neps and TK Tequila, promising a night of non-stop music and dancing.
According to Mastenbroek, foodies will be in for a treat with a curated selection of food trucks serving up dishes that perfectly complement the gin tasting experience. Don’t miss out on this gin-tastic event. “Tickets are selling incredibly fast and the event is almost sold out,” said Mastenbroek.
General admission tickets are priced at R220 each and include a complimentary gin cocktail upon entry. Secure your spot now through Howler, the official ticketing partner of the event, at https://www. howler.co.za/Bloemfontein_Gin_Festival_2023.
