Just like that! The 11th Best of Bloemfontein – Bloemfontein Courant Readers’ Choice Awards 2023 is here and you are invited to vote local because it’s lekker!
According to the editor of Bloemfontein Courant, Sazly Moses, this year, readers once again get to vote in one of Bloemfontein’s most successful and exciting competitions.
“The awards are the best way you can support your favourite local business. This widely-known competition is the true definition of ‘Local is Lekker’ and sets the standard for all local businesses.”
Production Manager of Mahareng, Nita Lloyd, highlighted that readers can expect a jam-packed Voters’ publication with a colourful layout that represents the City of Roses.
She added that the publication will include award-winning advertisements to promote Bloemfontein’s local businesses. “The winners will be announced in October and published in Bloemfontein Courant’s special supplement – Best of Bloemfontein Courant Readers’ Choice Awards – a handy, Best of Bloemfontein newspaper with a year-long shelf life … a newspaper to refer to whenever you’re looking for the best in the City of Roses.”
Mahareng Sales Manager, Nettie de Beer, said the competition recorded a record number of votes last year and this year businesses are invited to be part of the awards again. “There will be eight categories, namely Living in Bloem; Services; Shopping; Dining Out; Eat, Drink …; … And Be Merry; Glam It Up; and Kids. Thank you to all our loyal clients who have supported us over the past 11 years. Without you, the competition would not have been possible,” concluded De Beer.
