Staff from New Beginnings, a local non-profit organisation and animal rescue service, were planning to go on an outreach in Soutpan this morning but had to postpone the trip as their vehicle was unable to start.
“Animals are counting on us to help… But our hands are cut off at this stage. Our Mazda has over 236 868 kilometres on it, and has HUNDREDS of rescues behind its back,” reads a post on their social media.
