Get in the mood with the BCO and Andrew Young


Symphonic Moods, the opening production of the Bloemfontein City Orchestra’s (BCO) 2015 calendar promises to be an unforgettable evening of funk, rock and groove that will have audience members begging for more!
Featuring the internationally renowned recording artist and performing saxophonist Andrew Young, the audience can look forward to hits such as "Baker Street", "Georgia On My Mind", "Dying Young", "Roxanne", "What a Wonderful World", "My Heart Will Go On" and many more.

Hailed as The Prince of the Saxophone you can expect an evening of great music fired by the energy of the BCO and one of the most complete sax players on the scene today.
"I love returning to this country whenever possible. I have a heart for South Africa and its people but this is my first time ever performing in Bloemfontein and I am delighted to perform Philharmonic Rock with my ex-colleague from the NPO, Paul Loeb van Zuilenburg (trumpet) of the BCO," Young says.

Symphonic Moods will take place on 20 February at 19:30 in the Sand du Plessis Theatre. Tickets are R120, R150 and R180 at PACOFS 051-447-7772 and BCF Micro Finance (Kenworth Centre).
