The Free State South African Police Service (SAPS) vaccination roll out has been underway since yesterday morning and will continue at the Smithfield Police Station for all SAPS employees until Friday.
It is explained in a statement that the district launch was well attended and SAPS members are positive about taking the jab to protect their bodies from the virus.
According to the SAPS, the vaccinations started yesterday morning with the Acting District Commander Colonel N Guma leading his team in taking the first jab of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Station commanders from the district, together with members from their respective stations, have responded to government’s initiative to stop the spread of Covid-19 virus in the country.
