Five roads in three Free State districts will be upgraded during this month as a part of the Department of Police, Roads and Transport’s efforts to improve infrastructure in the province.
The department reports that the project will cost a total of R184 949 426.66 and that more than 650 jobs will be created through work opportunities available during the course of road building projects in the various districts.
Projects will run between three and fourteen months and the handing-over of road building sites to the successful contractors will take place as follows:
