FS road accidents claim lives

Yet another horrific accident in the Free State has claimed the lives of two people including a child and left multiple injured on the R30 between Bothaville and Orkney outside Klerksdorp in the North West.

OFM News reports, the Free State Emergency Medical Services’ (EMS) Sipho Towa tells OFM News that the two occupants were declared dead on the scene following a head-on collision. He says four people were left critically injured and three – including two kids – suffered moderate injuries. Towa adds that the patients were transferred to the Nala Hospital in Bothaville and Tshepong Hospital in Jouberton near Klerksdorp.

OFM News previously reported that on Sunday morning six people, including two infants, a teenager and three adults, lost their lives during an accident between a bus full of people and a light motor vehicle at a crossing of the R702 and the N6 between Dewetsdorp and Reddersburg.
