FS Premier wishes Madiba well

The Premier of the Free State Ace Magashule has joined the world in wishing the former President Nelson Mandela well.

The well wishes come from Mandela’s critical condition at Medi Clinic Heart Hospital in Pretoria. “Free State residents are wishing Madiba well and remain optimistic that the ailing iconic statesmen will soon recover to inspire us to achieve greater heights of our 19 years old democracy," says Magashule. He visited the Mandela on Friday together with some of the provincial executive members (PEC).

He says the birthplace of the ANC has been close to Madiba’s heart. “Hence, the Free State opted to erect a towering statue of Mandela on Naval Hill overlooking the city. This was symbolic of the fact and a future based on Mandela’s legacy for a South Africa that they belongs and cares for all who live in it,” says Magashule.

He says the people of the Free State will continue to pray for Madiba as we all are the “Mandela Generation”.
