FS man wanted to help solve murder case

The Tumahole police have urged that anyone with information about the whereabouts of 26-year-old Tshepo Kenneth Motaung come forward as this might help them solve a murder case.

This comes after the lifeless body of 17-year-old Dieketseng Suzan Tsotetsi was discovered in a shallow grave at one of the houses in Tambo Section, Tumahole. Members of the police received the information from concerned community members on 22 January 2021.

Police spokesperson Brigadier Motantsi Makhele said that community members informed police that Motaung was digging a big hole in his aunt’s yard and they thought he was going to throw garbage into it. They later noticed that the hole was closed and that the rubbish was still in the yard.

“On Sunday evening 24 January 2021 the suspect was seen selling his aunt’s television and fridge and on Monday, 25 January 2021 he was seen leaving his aunt’s house carrying bags. He never returned,” said Makhele.

Anyone with information on Tshepo’s whereabouts can contact Detective-Sergeant André Jacobs on 082 465 3140.
