The Free State Executive Council (EXCO), led by Premier Sisi Ntombela, will be visiting the deadly R30 road between Allanridge and Bothaville on Wednesday.
According to a statement, the visit forms part of an ongoing road infrastructure show, OFM News reports.
The Provincial EXCO visited the P21/4 road between Hoopstad and Bloemhof on Tuesday to monitor the state of the road after a video which went viral on social media led to the road being a topic of discussion for the past few days.
Free State MEC for Police Roads and Transport, William Bulwane, had stated that the notorious R30 road between Allanridge and Welkom has been prioritised the current financial year.
The R30 road has recently been in the spotlight after leaving many road users dead or injured due to reoccurring accidents that finally led to the closure of the road.
