The Democratic Alliance in the Free State says the provincial government is in limbo.
According to DA’s Roy Jankielsohn, governmental departments have no political heads to give them direction. He said it has been a week after Ace Magashule was sworn in as premier for the second term and his office he is yet to announce his new provincial government.
Jankielsohn added that Magashule must get of his laurels and appoint a new executive council immediately.
“He promised that the provincial government will start working for the people of the Free State and if he says they are going to start working, we expect them to start immediately. Our health care is in a crisis in the province, we have the highest unemployment rate and our people on the ground are suffering and we have no one to account for it. Government is in a limbo state,” he said.
Magashule will announce his new cabinet tomorrow at the Welkom Indoor Sports Centre.
