The R126 284 million 2013/2014 budget from the provincial adjustment budget will focus on infrastructure delivery, bursaries, special projects and enhancement of oversight among others.

MEC of Treasury in the Free State says five departments will be allocated funds for infrastructure delivery. She was speaking during a budget adjustment bill this week.

Rockman says they will also reimburse funeral costs to victims of the Marikana tragedy from Free State and Lesotho. The initial amount allocated to  provincial road maintenance has been reduced.
