Free Staters lose R15 million in alleged bogus scheme

Several residents of the Free State have suffered a total loss of R15 million after investing their money in an alleged bogus investment scheme.

The Hawks’ Serious Commercial Crime Investigation team based in Bethlehem now appeals to the public to assist them in tracing Moeketsi Ntshasa, who might be able to assist with the investigation into the alleged fraudulent scheme.

It is alleged that from 2018 until 2021 the victims invested their money into a company known as Integrated Investment Inn with a promise of getting an interest return of 10%.

The victims allegedly didn’t receive their money as promised, and the company is no longer available at its place of business in Ladybrand.

Anyone with information that might assist the police in locating Ntshasa, may contact the investigating officer, Warrant Officer Sidwell Mpholo, at 082 372 0386.

Any information received will be treated with strict confidentiality.
