Free State Education MEC, Tate Makgoe, together with KST and Japan Embassy had an infrastructure launch at Mpolokeng Primary School in Botshabelo this morning. According to MEC Makgoe’s Facebook page, they will be opening four classrooms. “I would like to thank KST and the Japanese Embassy for supporting us and making a difference to improve rural education. Your contribution will have an impact on both teaching and learning for many years,” Makgoe said. The school enrolment is 830 with a ratio of 1:53; after the 4 classrooms have been built, the classroom learner ratio is 1:44.
