Local hip hop artist, Thamsanqa Bopheka, who goes by the stage name Farmboy, recently launched his latest EP, titled Changes. The project boasts seven tracks, which explain how he is bringing change to the world.
“The EP is called Changes because it is different from other EPs I have made.” The EP consists of different genres, from hiphop to trap and pop. Other artists featured on Changes include Kaymo Kay, Dr Candy, Troy_M and Messiah 808. Troy_M, Dr Candy and Messiah 808 also produced the EP.
Bopheka explained that he makes music to inspire people his age and younger to follow their dreams and to show them that it is possible for anyone to make their dreams come true. He started singing in a church choir and after his love for music developed, he tried different styles until he found the one he wanted to perfect. “My biggest inspiration has to be Emtee; I have always looked up to him.”
Changes is available on all music digital platforms. Find Farmboy on Facebook at Farmboy and on Instagram at Farmboy_b.
