Extended Recruitment Drive : SAPS Northern Cape

The SAPS in the Northern Cape was allocated 187 entry level posts for enlistment of trainees into the South African Police Service. The advertisement of posts commenced from the 11 November 2013.
Recruitment drives were conducted by members of the Career Centre in the Province at most of the police stations. The purpose is to assist the stations and clusters with the recruitment process and the objective of reaching the allocated targets.
Due to the poor response received from the areas as advertised and also that many applicants did not meet the set criteria, police have extended the recruitment process. Young people who have just completed their matric in 2013 and who wish to pursue a career in the SAPS are encouraged to apply. In order to improve service to the communities we serve, we believe that applications should emanate from the area where specific posts are advertised hence ‘From the community to the community.’ The Career team will be at the following centres on the undermentioned dates :

Applicants who have already applied in November 2013 and have not written any tests may re-apply.

The SAPS will appreciate it if the dates and times are broadcasted/printed to the general public.
