Thousands of young people from across the country are expected, at the national rally of the Economic Freedom Fighter’s (EFF) Student Command on Thursday, in Mangaung.

The EFF student command’s first anniversary will take place at the Pax Nova Hall, in Batho location.

Spokesperson Peter Keetse says they will be celebrating progress that they have made, with their programs at various universities.

He further mentions that the rally will revolve around the student command’s contribution in the political landscape.

Keetse emphasises that they will continue fighting for free quality education and says those who plan on stopping them can only succeed by arresting them.

“Unfortunately they will not arrest our ideas, they will just arrest our bodies. People out there will still continue with the struggle. However, we as the student command, we have noticed that under the current government of the ANC, it is almost impossible for them to offer us free education,” says Keetse.
