University of the Free State Vice-rector, Dr Choice Makheta, has confirmed that she will also be leaving the UFS.
Makheta, who has been serving as Vice-rector of External Relations at the University since 2012, says she had submitted her resignation in April, and this has nothing to do with the resignation of Rector, Professor Jonathan Jansen, who’s resignation was announced this morning.
She doesn’t currently have any job offers on the table, but says her love for the University of the Free State means she will always be available to serve the institution.
