Dinos Alive – a roaring success

Bloemfontein Courant and Dinos Alive treated learners from the Ereskuld Intermediate School and Mokae Primary School in Thaba Nchu, as well as leaners from Bolokanang Child and Youth Care Centre, to a one-day outing to the exhibition last week. The exciting Dinos Alive dinosaur exhibition is currently up and running in the city.

With the help of Interstate Bus Lines all the learners were safely transported to and from the exhibition where
they had the opportunity to see 25 dinosaurs on display, complete with realistic movements, features and sounds. They breathe, blink, move their tails and roar just like they did in prehistoric times.

The learners also took part in the attractions of the "interactive area" which includes a selection of dino rides, an excavation area, face-painting and a movie theatre room that are all on offer.

The friendly folk at Caramello’s made sure to fill the learners’ roaring tummies after the exciting excursion.

The Dinos Alive dinosaur exhibition runs until 27 July. Tickets cost R120 per adult, R85 per child (children under 2 go free), R70 per child for school groups of 20 or more, R350 for family pack (2 adults and 2 kids). Tickets are available at Computicket, or at the door.
