On Tuesday, 31 October 2023, Deputy Minister in the Presidency for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Ms Pink Kekana, will lead frontline monitoring of service delivery in the Mangaung Metro Municipality.
This visit is against the backdrop of previous monitoring being conducted by the Deputy Minister’s local government unit to evaluate service delivery projects in the metro.
The outcomes of the DPME’s report will be released and discussed during the Deputy Minister’s visit to the Free State in order to develop interventions aimed at improving services to the community.
Deputy Minister Kekana will also conduct frontline monitoring of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) System, which is one of the municipality’s catalytic projects that has a ripple developmental and economic effect on the province.
The monitoring will take place from 12:00 at the Bram Fischer building.
