The Central University of Technology (CUT) has held a Media Meet- and-Greet to introduce newly appointed CUT leadership members on 23 April 2018. The welcoming and introductions were handled by Prof. Henk de Jager, Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the CUT.

Dr Gary William Paul and Mr Gcobane Quvile, the two newly appointed CUT members, had the opportunity to say a few words at the event. Dr Paul has been appointed as Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Resources and Operations (DVC: ResOps). He assumed duties on 16 April 2018. With a number of qualifications and a long employment history, he has experience in both the industry and the Higher Ecucation sector, something that will definitely add great value to CUT.

Gcobane has been elected as CEO/Director of CUT Innovation Services (CUTIs) who has been in office since 10 April 2018, is also the owner of a few businesses. Together with his wife, they have been providing mentorship and financing to university students from Atteridgeville Township.
