The Central University of Technology, Free State’s (CUT) vice-chancellor and principle, Prof. Pamela Dube, will launch the CUT Research Centre on 19 September from 09:00 to 15:00 at the Hotel School on the Bloemfontein Campus.

According to CUT the establishment of the centre will mark a milestone in the university’s ongoing commitment to addressing “the challenges and opportunities posed by rapid technological advancements in a manner that is ethical, inclusive, and fundamentally human-centric.”

This means the centre will not only be a hub for innovative research but will serve as a platform for meaningful dialogue and collaboration with relevant stakeholders such as government, industry leaders, and local communities.
