Bloemfontein – Goals by Orapeleng Manopole, Lebohang Leballo and Moeketsi Makhoesa helped the Central University of Technology (CUT), claim a much needed 3-0 win over Swagger FC in their SAFA Second Division match played on Saturday, 24 May, at the CUT Sports Grounds in Bloemfontein.

In the first round, these two sides shared the spoils after to a 1-1 draw at the Flavious Mareka Stadium in Sasolburg.

CUT will lock-horns with neighbours, FC Hunters, in the Bloemfontein derby which will be played at the Clive Solomon Stadium in Heidedal on Wednesday, 28 May. Kick-off is at 18:00.

University of the Free State played to a 1-1 draw against Mighty Lions in their SAB Regional League match at the UFS Sport Ground on Friday, 23 May.

Kovsies are 3rd on the log with 44 points after 24 matches, with six still to be played.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are at the summit with 50 points from 26 matches; one point ahead of second-place Lazio, who are on 49 points from 23 matches.

In their next match, UFS will welcome Sabata FC to the Kaizer Sebothelo Stadium in Botshabelo on Saturday afternoon. Kick-off is at 13:00.
