Free State front line workers in Bloemfontein have jilted the Johnson & Johnson booster shot.

Free State Health spokesperson, Mondli Mvambi, lamented the turn up of front line health workers who were supposed to get their jabs at Universitas Hospital in Bloemfontein in the Free State today.

One of the health workers in the hospital expressed her disappointment as health workers did not come to get their J&J booster shots, as it was the last day for the jabs. She further called on people to come to the vaccination station of the hospital to get their jabs.

Bloemfontein Courant previously reported that Montseng Tsiu, MEC of Health, will be deploying vaccinators and primary health workers on the N1 road in Bloemfontein where she will also be overseeing the set-up of emergency services. Mvambi had stated that this was to ensure that the Arrive Alive campaign is supported by the Department of Health.
