Brace yourselves! A provincial workshop for the top eight students participating in the National School Moot Court Competition will be hosted by the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) in collaboration with the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development, the University of the Free State, and the Free State Education Department.
These eight students will be representing the Free State province.
The National Schools Moot Court Competition is an annual event that aims to increase secondary school students’ constitutional literacy.
This year, it will be taking place at the SAHRC’s training room on 29 September 2023 from 09:00-14:00. Learners will be studying the constitution in greater depth and create legal debates discussing case studies and related statutes.
