DUANE PETRUS – The trial of the man who allegedly shot a police constable in June has been postponed until 27 August. Marius Terblanche, who is out on R10 000 bail, briefly appeared in the Bloemfontein Regional Court this morning. He is charged with attempted murder and discharging a firearm for allegedly shooting Mathe Sefutsi three times in the legs in June. A neighbour called police after hearing a gunshot at Terblanche’s Pellissier home. Police reports say that Terblanche opened fire without any warning.
