Close to 30 000 tickets sold for the Currie Cup final

Close to 30 000 tickets have already been sold for tomorrow’s big Currie Cup final between the Toyota Cheetahs and Pumas in Bloemfontein.

The Cheetahs are in the final for the first time since 2019 when they beat the Lions 31-28, while the Pumas are the defending champions after they beat the Griquas 26-19 in Kimberley a year ago.

Meanwhile, the former Cheetahs winger, William Small-Smith, who scored a try in the final four years ago, told OFM Sport that he backs his team to win a seventh Currie Cup.

Tomorrow’s big final at the Toyota Stadium kicks off at 16:00.
