Christmas comes early for Karabelo Primary School learners

Bloemfontein – Time for receiving came earlier than expected for the Rocklands-based primary school, Karabelo. Twenty learners received school shoes and socks from the Bloemfontein Bikers Club, Jungle Cats this week.

The donation formed part of the club’s social responsibility initiative which aims to improve quality education and enhance the performance of learners from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The bikers entertained the learners with bikes as a way of informing them that school is a place to learn and have fun as well. The recipients of the shoes were:

Boys: Kamohelo Makhalanyane, Thabo Mosese and Neo Mapharisa (grd.6), Teko Moshoeunyane and Retshedisitswe Modisaotsile (grd.4),Tshokolo Collins, Lehlohonolo Mothabeng and Rafael Monyaki (grd.3), Itumeleng Mokone, Seboka Motjope and Keketso Mpatsi (grd.2) as well as Mpho Makgetha (grd.1)

Girls: Kelebone Moloinyane (grd.6), Dimpho Lesaoana, Relebohile Mohapi and Kelebogile Mosiako (grd.5), Kelebogile Tshabalala (grd.3), Retshepile Moiloa (grd.2), Yonela Mandla and Mpho Makgetha (grd.1).
