The Mangaung Metro Municipality (MMM) has urged residents of the metro to double check their reference numbers when paying for their municipal accounts when making payments via electronic fund transfers (EFT).
“The Mangaung Metro Municipality (MMM) is experiencing high volume of payments sitting in suspense account due to incorrect referencing from its customers/clients,” said MMM.
Residents are advised to ensure that the correct reference number has ten digits that start with 100 and/or 49 on their municipal accounts.
“Customers/clients must provide their email addresses to receive their monthly account statements electronically via email.”
