The Bloemfontein Celtic coach, Veselin Jelušić, has remained tight-lipped on the possibility of the club contracting more players before the transfer windows closes.
During the current transfer period Celtic have just contracted Lorenzo Gordinho from Kaizer Chiefs on a loan-deal and Menzi Masuku from Chippa United. In return they released Kabelo Mahlasela to the Amakhosi and Khethokwakhe Masuku is linked with Wits.
Following Phunya Sele Sele’s 1-1 draw to Cape Town City FC on Sunday, Jelušić said that he cannot confirm more signings.
“Unfortunately I cannot answer this question, because it is a question for our management.
“We have contacted and we have tried to het players that can help us, but it all depends on many other factors.
“These include the players market value and so on, and as you know we don’t have crazy money th throw around.
“We are limited to target players which we can afford.
The transfer window closes at midnight on Wednesday. – MORGAN PIEK
