Celtic not on the market…for now

Bloemfontein – PSL club, Bloemfontein Celtic is not looking to sell, however, offers would be considered.

On Tuesday night it came to the attention of Courant Sport that the club is looking to go on the market, when the country’s leading football scribes gathered in Durban for the launch of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Club director, Khumbulani Konco, was unavailable for comment on the matter.

Meanwhile, Siwelele Managing Director, Ikie Augousti, revealed to the Bloemfontein daily, Volksblad, that the club is not on the market, however if an offer should be made, it would be considered.

It was also revealed that the club wouldn’t accept anything less than R50 million, however could fetch up to R80 million on the tricky market.

The club turned down a previous offer in the past which was much higher than R80 million.
