Celtic Colts stunned by Stars

Bloemfontein Celtic Colts suffered a 1-0 loss to the Sibanye Golden Stars FC in the SAFA Second Division match played on Thursday at the Beatrix Mine Sports Grounds in the Free State.

The match was moved forward by two days owing to a political rally scheduled for the venue on Saturday.

Celtic Colts thrashed Shamrock Flowers FC 2-0 before beating Super Eagles 1-0 in their previous matches.

Colts drop to the fifth spot on the log while Sibanye Stars occupy the fourth. Colts face off their rivals, Bloemfontein Young Tigers, in their next encounter.

The Eagles are in action tomorrow against the log leaders, Young Tigers, at Bohlokong Stadium. The match kicks off at 15:00.

Elsewhere, Shamrock Flowers FC host Welkom United FC at Loubscher Park while Dinonyana FC travel to Vaal Legend FC at Flavius Mareka Stadium. Both matches kick off at 15:00.
