Are you sick and tired of always hearing negative news, hearing how your sports team lost or how the day’s traffic will affect your route? No worries.
On Tuesday the 20th of March, OFM will bring joy to Central South Africa in celebration of the International Day of Happiness. For the entire day OFM will broadcast happy content only. From news, traffic, weather and not forgetting happy music too.
Not only are they dedicating the whole day of their broadcast to positivity, they are also giving the public the chance to win nice prizes. The Street Squad will also hit the streets to share the joy with individuals.
To make this day even more special, OFM would like their clients, friends of OFM and listeners to pledge as many Smiling Meals as possible for the children of Child Welfare Bloemfontein & Childline Free State. The aim is to raise funds to buy smiling meals for the children of central South Africa. One meal goes for as little as R20.
On the 20th people can help feed these kids by calling in to pledge donations for Smiling Meals at telephone number 051-050-909.
Corporate companies are invited to take part in this happy day and send their pledges to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Be sure to listen to OFM for more details.
Nick Efstathiou, OFM General Manager says “We celebrated International Day of Happiness on OFM for the first time last year and the day was a huge success! This year, we will build on the concept by introducing ‘Smiling Meals’. What better way to spread the joy than by feeding hungry tummies and putting smiles on the faces of children in our region.”
