The Free State Provincial Treasury in collaboration with Letsemeng Local Municipality in Xhariep District will host Career Exhibitions and One-Stop Community Service event on the 31st May 2013.
Finance MEC Elzabe Rockman’s Constituency Office is based in Koffiefontein and this initiative is aimed at empowering the youth and to encourage them to pursue their educational interest in different career paths.
The purpose of the event is to create a platform for the youth from the Xhariep District to explore career possibilities by offering career guidance and information services which will assist them in making informed decisions about their careers.
On the day, invited stakeholders such as Eskom; Telkom; Free State School of Nursing ; Motheo FET College, Provincial Treasury,Transnet and Central University of Technology will provide Career Exhibitions for learners, whereas One-stop Community Services will be rendered by South African Social Services Agency(SASSA), South African Police Services,South African Defence Force and Department of Health.
