Business brunch aims to uplift women

Rakgadi Koetle and Tshireletso Matlhoko

The upcoming business women’s brunch is said to be one for the books as the event aims to empower women from all parts of life to build their own empire.

The business brunch is the brainchild of Rakgadi Koetle and Tshireletso Matlhoko, who came up with the idea after seeing female owned companies rapidly growing.

“We saw it fit to host this event to inform upcoming female entrepreneurs about the business world as a whole and to also grow female owned businesses,” said Matlhoko. According to her, this event is by women for women and it is not just “a party” but an opportunity for local women to learn about business, self-love and health while it also serves as an opportunity to network.

Some of the guest speakers include FS MEC of Health, Montseng Tsiu, actress and restaurant owner, Mapaseka Koetle, business owner, Naledi Ramanamane, and salon and cooking studio owner, Angel Mawonga.

This sold-out event will have Covid-19 protocols in place. Matlhoko said that guests can look forward to successful and upcoming business women sharing their wisdom and experiences.

“We will also be focusing on health and self-love, not forgetting that this will be an opportunity for us as women to start loving ourselves and realise the kind of power we hold in the world,” concluded Matlhoko.
