Bloemfontein – Devon Williams, who is the leading try scorer in the Vodacom Cup, will make his run-on debut for the Stormers when they tackle the Toyota Cheetahs in the Super Rugby this weekend.
Williams made his debut off the bench in last weekend’s 18-3 win over the Lions, but he will start in the No.11 jersey this week in the absence of Sailosi Tagicakibau who has not shaken off a sternum injury.
Furthermore, Springbok flank Schalk Burger returns from injury and will start on the bench for the Cape Town based side.
Saturday will be Burgers’ first match back in action since return home with a knee injury during the sides’ disastrous Australasian tour.
The Cheetahs side for Saturday’s clash will be announced at 12:30 this afternoon. The side could see the possible return of flyhalf Johan Goosen and flank Lappies Labuschagné from injury.
Saturday’s match at the Free State Stadium kicks-off at 17:05.
