Based in the City of Roses, singer and songwriter Liv Die is deeply passionate about the arts and diverse cultures. She has a heart filled with dreams and this is how she brings these dreams to life – through her music.
When asked how the name ‘Liv Die’ came about, Liv mentioned that the name is more than just a name, it is a philosophy. “To me, the name symbolises finding something that you are so passionate about that you are willing to give your all for it, even if it means risking it all.” Liv takes pride in the fact that she writes every one of her lyrical pieces.
She draws her inspiration from her personal experiences and the life around her. Liv mentions that the real-life stories and feelings are what she’d like to capture in her music. Although she writes her own music, she still is willing to collaborate with talented writers, that way, new and creative dimensions can be explored and infused together. Liv will be representing AHADI in Durban at Music Imbizo 2023.
She has also been invited to the 13th Chale Wote Street Art Festival taking place in Ghana. “Looking ahead, my schedule is brimming with excitement. I hope to travel more, collaborate with various artists, and explore different musical genres.
It’s an adventurous journey that I can’t wait to embark on” said Liv. For lovers of entertaining music, Liv will be performing at Chillax on 17 September.
