Bram Fischer Airport had security issues

Complaints about the slack security at Bram Fischer International Airport in Bloemfontein have been registered with management.

Airport Manager Esmaralda Barnes said in an exclusive interview with OFM News that concerns were raised about the security before. This follows after robbers got in and out of the airport on Wednesday morning, waving around what looked like automatic weapons.

Several shots were fired and they got away with an undisclosed amount of money. The getaway cars sped through the security gate unhindered as seen in CCTV footage circulating on social media. OFM News asked questions after a video was leaked – showing a car circumventing the security at the exit gate.
