Bloemfontein – The Toyota Cheetahs have named an unchanged starting XV to tackle the Bulls in Pretoria this weekend in the Super Rugby.
The only difference to the side that beat the Stormers 35-22 in Bloemfontein last weekend sees the return of Springboks Coenie Oosthuizen and Johan Goosen to the bench.
The pair return from injury and replace Rossouw de Klerk and Riaan Smit in the match-23.
One more change on the bench sees Ligtoring Landman also returning from injury and replacing Waltie Vermeuelen in the number 19 jersey.
Naka Drotské’s side will go into the match with a lot of confidence following their win last week and due to the fact that they beat the men from Pretoria 15-9 earlier this year.
Cheetahs captain, Adriaan Strauss, also conceded that although they are confident, the Bulls are always a different beast at Fortress Loftus and they will not be a pushover despite their four losses on tour to New Zealand and Australia.
An upbeat Drotské feels if they can pick up a win, they could be right back in the mix.
“If we can beat the Bulls, we’ll be one point behind them, so it’s a funny old game,” said Drotské.
“There were three of four games this season where we were never outplayed. We were our own worst enemy by letting teams come back through silly errors. Hopefully that’s behind us now,” the coach concluded.
Saturday’s match at Loftus Versfeld kicks off at 17:05.
